Time for an update on my Beyond the Gates of Antates Ghar project. I started project and now have some reinforcements ready to further terrorize the Antarean space.

On covering my Dropzone Commander PHR project, I went through the (slow) core of my army, the Type-1 and Type-2 Walkers, the Immortal infantry and the Scout drones. This time I'm moving on the juicier stuff.

We recently played our version the Battle of Bastogne scenario from the Bolt Action Tank War supplement. The scenario pits German defenders against the US and we chose to play it with each side having an infantry platoon and an armoured platoon of three tanks.

Beyond the Gates of Antares is the latest sci-fi hotness from Rick Priestley and Warlord Games. I enjoy playing Bolt Action tremendously and as I find the Antares miniatures rather cool, picking up the starter box was a no-brainer.

The Ghar are the faction of my choice and here's some photos of my first two squads.

Summer 2015, after getting my Scourge project to a good sized force I begun working on my second project for Dropzone Commander – the PHR.

If you're not familiar with the Dropzone Commander universe, PHR, or Post Human Republic, is one of the five factions in the game. The PHR are technologically highly advanced and rely heavily on cybernetics (hence post human) and – as will be evident from my photos below – big stompy robots.
